Grants of up to £200 are available to individuals or community groups in Norwich. Great Yarmouth, South Norfolk and parts of Breckland to pay for activities which reduce loneliness or social isolation.
Maria Plumb, Deputy Service Manager of the Better Together service says ‘ The grants can be used for all sorts of activities that bring people together, such as a Christmas lunch event, a seasonal activity such as wreath making, or simply providing mince pies and a cup of tea in your local community centre. The application process is very simple and our team of Community Development Workers can help your plan and organise your activity and apply for the grant.’
