A new walking group in Acle is about to get underway…
Participants of a walking group in Acle are set to go on their first excursion in the next few weeks (weather permitting). Better Together staff have been helping set up this group and so initially it will be for Better Together clients – i.e. the people we support when they need help the most.
This first one will be a dog friendly (as long as they’re kept on leads) walk along the river bank.
Once this groups is well established and there are regular meet ups (and once we know numbers) we hope to be able to open it up to others in the local community. This group is part of our wider plan to establish running, walking, bird watching and other outdoor groups or activities for clients that suit their physical needs.
